Saeco Vienna SuperAutomatica Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine Logo

I have a Vienna Superautomatica Type SUP 018 and have recently experienced extremely wet grounds in the grounds dump box. It's as though the grounds are not being compressed sufficiently to remove the excess liquid before being dumped. I have cleaned the filters and cleaned the arm with the spring and ball replacing them in the proper place after cleaned. Do you think I need a new Brew Group?

Saeco Vienna superautomatica won't dump grounds puck into dump box

This needs looking at by a Saeco repair shop - the brew unit travels in a distinct 'pathway' from being empty, to filled, to coffee being tamped, then to being emptied. Yours is obviously not working as intended.
It may be the brew unit needs lubricating ( NOT OIL) or it may be the gear system that drives the brew units movements that needs attention.
Cheers
Mike.

I just received a used Saeco Vienna SuperAutomatica and I can not get coffee to brew. Drive grounds are shot into discard bin

HI
You must have 2 knobs in the bean hopper, or the grinds are more like French Press (very large grinds) If yoou just have 2 knobs turn the small one towards the minus (-) a little, and see idf that helps. If you hqve very large grinds you grinder has seperated and needs to be replaced.

Saeco Vienna. Wet cofffee grinds in the dump box.

It could be the grind on the coffee or the red group o-ring and the 2 o-rings on the white plastic valve need to be replaced.

Saeco vienna deluxe espresso machine

Clean the ball and valve assembly located in the Brew Group. It ocassionally gets "dirty" and needs cleaning. Be careful you don't lose the glass ball which is very small. Use a q-tip or small wire for cleaning the tubular area.

Brew group/dump box

Hi,

If you open the door, start the machine, take a screwdriver in the hole lokated in the left lower side and a other in the hole lokated in the right top corner. Now should the machine do her selftest and go back to start positions.
