Kenmore Elite HE4 Smartheat QuietPak9 (110.8509140)
The dryer has stopped working. It had previously only worked on the Normal cycle for many months; I was lazy and didn't troubleshoot the problem because Normal is all I've ever needed. Well, now it won't work at all.
I used the Tech Sheet to test the proper button functions. All but three appear to work properly (i.e. there is an open circuit until the button is pressed, and then approximately 275 kohms resistence). The three other buttons I am unsure about because they all show resistance without the button being pressed, however, all drop to approximately 275 when the button is pressed. The Normal button shows approximately 330, Damp Dry Signal shows 277, and Less Time shows 277 all without the button being pressed.
So the question is, is that normal, or should all show no continuity before the button is pressed? AKA: Which is bad, the Control Electronics or the Console Electronics?

Was just going by the instructions on the Tech Sheet, but it didn't indicate what the proper resistance was suppose to be, just that the buttons should affect some change in the resistance.
