As far as I recall there should be a standby and menu button on the side of the tv somewhere. If you but the tv into standby then press and hold both buttons for 12 seconds it resets the tv to it's factory settings, including pin numbers. Might be wrong but think it's along those lines, Hope this helps.

If it's a plasma try resetting. There should be a reset button either on the remote or on back of t.v
If not and if you cant acess your tv settings to reset. You can call Sears 24hr helpline and they will connect you to a tech. Who will help you..No it doesnt cost anything. Or get on web and look up a manual for your tv or just type in what its doing and you will possibly find your answer, but I think it just needs resetting and updated.

First be certain your internal speakers are turned on, Then you May be missing voltage from power supply to main PCB, but if that is there then the MAIN PCB is the most likely issue. Could also be your speakers, but not very common issue. Also may be your source,if you connect a DVD player do you get sound?

After use Tv will not turn on

Tv will not turn on after previously being use. We will use the tv for a period of time turn it off and come back to it later in the day or night and the tv will not power on. The flashing red light on the bottom right corner will flash but it will not kick over to the blue light as it does when the tv is acting normal. I've checked the LG support website. The product is discontinued but if you register your product you may get downloads of firmware upgrades, etc. With my phillips I couldn't see any firmware upgrades until I registered my product. Register here!

Yes it can be destroyed all the hdmi inputs end up in a chip called high definition controller before going to the main video prossesor so it might be destroyed or all the mainboard might need replacing

PSU malfuction replacing it will solve the problem there a slight possibility that there's also mainboard issue
