It all depends on how many hrs it has run. Maintenance items include air filters,belts,oil in both engine and compressor, fuel filter and battery if equiped on the engine.

According to the service manual you need to tighten the head bolts to 65 foot Lbs. Also use the criss cross method.

Your location may not have a good constant supply of electricity and you are experiencing variable voltage surges. I would suggest that you get a voltage meter and check the voltage to the motor while it is running under load. It needs to remain constant.
