I don't know if your camcorder have features to edit videos in camcorder itself, while some camcorders can. If it dosen't, you need to edit DVD videos on computer with an editor such as ArcSoft ShowBiz. And you need to check your DVD disc style at first. Some discs support rewriting so you can shoot a video, edit it, delete it, shoot a new one all on one disc. Some don't, once you finalize it, nothing can be modifyed. For those rewritable discs, ShowBiz is really a good choice, which enables you to edit disc frames, customize buttons, layers, etc. It even support blu-ray discs editing and burning.

For DVD camcorders, it depends on your DVD discs type. Some kinds are edited and finalized on camcorders and can be never modifyed once you finished. In this case you must consider carefully before editing on camcorders and finish it. Other discs allow you to rewrite on it with editing programs like ArcSoft ShowBiz.

not ony is there drivers but there is software.
if none came with the camera you can usually get it online. chack the canon website. if you cant find it we can help you for a small fee.

Hey! As far as I know, Canon DC330 camcorders records high-quality MPEG-2 footage directly to a mini DVD-R or DVD-RAM. So you can watch it with your DVD-RAM drive onyour PC, or you can convert the recorded dvds into videos and play it with players such as Windows Media Player.
I'd like to share you DVD Converter Software which can help you convert dvd to common video and convert between videos. Hope that helps.

To begin with Imovie will not do this for you, you need a software package called final cut pro, I think it may be fore mac and pc but I movie will not cut it for you. Its the format that is setting you back. See you cannot convert RAW NTSC and expect it to be in sync with Imovie because of the co-dec used in I movie is what is killing the whole process may I suggest Final cut pro?
