the groung wire is the all black wire, or strip the ground wire to the radio and connect it to a screw under the dash board that screws in to metal. that should ground it.

You might need to check your wiring, it's a safety feature with dvd players. Check the ground wire.

i've heard similar complaints before. usually if you reset the head unit it starts to work.

You need to buy an amp adapter. SCOSCHE OEA4 4-Channel Adjustable Factory Amplifier Int. 23 bucks on ebay. You most likely have a factory amp in your car and the head unit's speaker output wires are already amped. the factory amp can't understand the audio signal.

it could be a bad ground. check your wires

hook your brake line wire from stero to your ground wire. it needs to be grounded

try taking the card out and reseting unit

this happened to us also. If it's happening with the lights on, unhook the orange dimmer wire. our would workonly when the lights were off. the second we turned the light on the system would shut off. once we unhooked the orange wire it stopped doing it. we installed it in a 2003 mercury mountaineer.

How is the system connected? Are you using aftermarket amp or factory amp, check speaker wire from amp yo subwoofer, and volume levels kn the amp if aftermarket.
