I do not think that hauppauge has 64bit drivers for that device. The issue truly is do you NEED 64bit and can you install 32bit instead?
Most users do not need 64bit and the issue is most vendors just arent making 64drivers yet

change the software to sage tv or beyond tv or if you are using windows vista try the media center

connect the cable from the wall to the box top them the other one to the pvr and tune the pvr to channel 3 or 4 try both,but also i would suggest to change the software you are using to ether sage tv or beyond tv because the win tv software sucks

install manuaul is available online at hauppauge- getting assitance is somewhat harder

Try pressing CTRL + ALT + ESC and that will start the task manager. Let's say it's Internet Explorer that is causing the problem. Just click on it and click end task. Same thing goes for your problem.
