A lot of software is incompatible with Win 7. One should nnever rush out and buy a new op system because Microsoft releases it. The same things happened with XP and Vista. no drivers for much of the common hardware, and software versions that had been working fine on the previous op system. Broderbund is always slow to release new versions, so no there is no fix for this yet.

In some companies they employ Beta Testers, at Microsoft they use sales and clients to route out their bugs, They even have the cheek to charge you to test their monopolized ratty product!

I have gone to the Broderbund website and found nothing for user guides or user manuals. I did find a way to contact them so I am including that link at the bottom of this post. I am sorry I couldn't find the actual manual for you. Best wishes...hope this helps.

The Print Shop® 23 Error 1305... When attempting to install The Print Shop® 23, an error that includes the message "Error 1305..." or "Error 1304..." appears. A conflict during the installation may cause this issue. Completing a clean installation of the program will help to prevent conflicts that can occur. The remainder of this note describes the procedure. Complete the steps below to reduce conflicts during the installation.

Clean the CD or DVD

1. Place a small amount of nonabrasive, liquid soap on the shiny side of the CD or DVD.
   
2. Using your fingertips and warm water, gently rub the soap on the disc in a circular motion.
   
3. Rinse the disc thoroughly and dry it using a clean, soft T-shirt or lint-free towel. Do not use paper towels or tissue paper.
   
4. Install the program.

NOTE: If the error message reappears, I don't know an another massage.
