I bought a system and this scosche fa1-3a came
This device is used to connect the speakers out puts to an amplifier.
Usually a car stereo speakers are high volume out puts and it can damage the sound (distortion) at the time to connect an amplifier so the best way with less distortion is hooking up this device to low the volume and get a clean sound to be amplified

Hello herg1076,
Here's a link to
www.modifiedlife.com which will have a page showing the color codes for your vehicle wiring. The 2008 Chrysler 300 rear speakers are shown as follows: Left positive is Dark Green/Tan, Left negative is Dark Green/Gray, Right positive is Dark Green/Brown, and Right negative is Yellow/Green. Other models and other years will be different, so be sure that you browse to the correct color codes for your specific vehicle.
Hope this helps.

Sub hits backwards, hi low level converter?
I ran into a similar problem installing a sustem in a Mazda RX8. He had BOSE speakers which operate at a different range. We had to purchase the Rockford 3sixty.

Installing an aftermarket head unit into a 1994 Ford Bronco
are you using and after market harness to go from your bronco to the harness to the new radio. if so make sure all the colors are matched up (e.i. purple to purple, purple/black to purple/black). did the speakers work before the aftermarket unit. Also check the wiring at the oem speakers

I have a 98 mustang
Okay you will not find a wire to splice into. Assuming that you have an aftermarket Head unit, your gonna need to hook those rca cables in the back of the head unit (the red and white female inlets) and run those to the amplifier, afterwhich can you run at least 6 to 4 guage wire (available at walmart) from the amp to the subwoofer. Now make sure you buy a power compacitor to handle the extra juice needed to run that amp, which is alot cheeper than buying an extra battery and running that off your alternator (not a good idea by the way).

GM09SR in 2006 Trailblazer needs to be reboot
I had the same issues with the Scosche GM09SR module in a 2004 Chev Avalanche. There are problems with the modulke, not your vehicle, replace it with a different type. The first issue with mine was that it would not tiurn the radio on & it made a cahtter sound while the key was on. After rebooting it, the second problem showed up months later. Module started chattering again. I did not want to take a chance on damaging my truck's electrical system or the head unit & replaced it. Best Buy installer says they have had nothing but problems with this specific module & do not even carry Scosche any more. Best Buy or Scosche won't do anything about the design flaw in the module. Replace it with another good quality module & forget about it. I purchased a PAC, no issues as of yet.

Fai-3a installed, subs work speakers dont
did you cut them and splice into them. Because instead splice them all together and it should all work. or if you have a multichannel amp just hook ur factories into the amp as well.
