How to fix the wand
First check the steam wand tip to make sure it is not blocked. If it is clear remove the wand and run it under a faucet to make sure it is not blocked, it water flows freely, then the problem is on the fitting that connects the valve to the boiler, remove fitting and check, if clear check the boiler fitting, use a screwdriver and clear the fitting on top of the boiler.
Hello. No water comes from
Remove the shower screen and try again if that does work then the machine is blocked at the top of the group (Big nut on top front) in the metering jet.
When I steam my milk
The boiler needs to be cleaned, it is contaminated with milk. Check the water from the tea spicket, if it smells funny or it is discolored then the boiler is contaminated, if not then the problem is at the steam wand and steam valve.
Water pump problem
I would just replace the whole pump. you could rebuild it but they never seem to last that long with a rebuild. espressoparts.com should have them for between 70 and 100 dollars. its been a while since i bought one but i remember them being relatively cheap. do you use a water filter? it will extend the pump life quite a bit
Jus got an astoria sae junior i got hot water steam but no water on brew head no boiler pressure is 0 all the time just change the pump need help
There could be a number of issues here. If the pump pressure reads 0 then that would suggest there is no power going to the pump. Does the machine hum when you press for a brew? If it does then the pump is receiving power.
If you have changed the pump recently have you reset the pump pressure manually on the pump head? This is done by adjusting the nut (12mm I think?) anti-clockwise to increase the pressure. Clockwise to reduce it.
Perhaps the pressure gauge is faulty?
No water to the brew head if the water pressure is fine and the pump is working indicates a blockage in the group head. You will need to strip down the valve and clear the filter which is a small hole under the large nut...
Make sure the water is turned off and the machine is cold and isolated before stripping out the valve.
