the red cable on the auxillary cables had come unplugged from the back of the dvd player. plugged it back in and picture is awesome!!!!

you can hook up yor i pod unit directly into the back of the unit there is a special slot were it plugs into and you can use the remote to operate it once it is hooked up .you can veiw the functions from the tv in ipod mode or you can plug it in from the front lower left oped lid and plug and play

Try to plug it into a differen outlet. Also unplug it and open the case and look for a glass tube should be small and see if you have one in that case. If not then the cost to repair is high. You should get an estimate of how much the local repair should would charge you first. If it cost too much than what a new one would cost then don't repair it keep the speakers and get rid of the amp. But a new amp or another system if you want.

Instead of aux (Blue Connector of PC Sound), try using head phone jack (Green Connector of PC Sound). It if is working fine, uninstall sound driver of your PC, restart PC and install sound driver again. Your problem will be fixed.

The back of the lry517 has 2 sets of audio outs and 1 set of audio ins. If you are using the component video outs, use the audio outs to the right of the component outs.
