Is it actually getting hot or are you feeling the RF energy which would feel like a burning sensation? What does an SWR meter say about your antenna? Are you running a linear amp?
There are 2 adjustments for the S meter on a Connex cx-33. SV1 and SV2. The thing about setting that meter is you need to have an accurate RF generator the can ouput -93 dBm
Drop me an email to [email protected] and I'll send you a pdf copy by return. By co-incidence I have just obtained a pair and scanned in the 2 page manual.

On the back there is a reset button. Hold it until the light in front turns solid red. Then it will be reset and within about 2 minutes a ladies voice loudly will say ready to pair, and will keep saying that every two minutes until you are successful or give up after a hour or so of trying every possibly way to get it to connect... Though the only pictures ive seen online of these cameras working are when they are linked to Iphones. 0 androids has it worked that I noticed.
Here is the link from momentum on configuring:

Have you tried going into the blue tooth section of the phone to see if it can 'see' the signal from the earbuds? Some earbuds need to be put into 'pairing mode' to connect. The most common method used is to press and hold the power button down, Press and hold the power button. Do not release the button for at least 5 seconds. You should hear the start up tone and then another separate tone. This is the earth buds going into pairing mode. You phone should then be able to find and pair to the earbuds.
are you using the antennas that are installed thru the mirrors or the ones on the side of the truck. If you are using them you should make sure that they are connected to the coax. some just get thrown together ,antenna to mount then one end of coax to ??? so take a multi meter and set it on x1.Touch bottom of the antenna and the connector that come out of the dash. If you are connected you should get a reading. If you are not ,then you will have a problem hearing anyone because you are not connected to the antenna but the coax. If the connection is good to go then I would try running a ground wire to the chassie and maybe even a ground strap.
Unfortunately, no. Although the Foxtel iQ3 and iQ4K STUs do have Bluetooth functionality built in, it is only used for pairing a compatible Foxtel remote control - Bluetooth audio is not supported. You will need to pair your headphones with your television set which will transmit audio from the Foxtel STU via HDMI.
Open up your cell phone's blue tooth settings and look for your new earbuds on the list of nearby devices. Select it.
Do this when you touch your earbuds to search and connect via blue tooth,
Make sure that the pair on your output device states paired for phone and music. It can still pair for phone and data but not pair to stream music. This is common on android devices especially. If this be the case, unpair the device and forget (delete) the earbuds on your output device. Ensure any bluetooth devices like amazon Alexa, TVs and other common things are powered down. Turn the bluetooth on the output device off, then back on. Search for earbuds and follow manufacturer procedures to sync earbuds. Once found, pair. Ensure when a successful pair happens that they are paired for phone and music. It will tell you on the output device if the pair was successful for both. At this point make sure your volume settings are not muted or all the way down and you should be enjoying music if you have an app playing music.
