Charge an iPod Nano Without a Charger If you've misplaced or broken the charger that came with your iPod Nano, you might think you need to purchase a new one in order to continue using your Mp3 player. However, there is a way that you can continue enjoying your iPod without having to purchase a new charger. As long as you have a USB cord and a computer, you can charge your iPod without having the charger. Locate the USB cord that came with your iPod Nano package. It is the same cord that you use in order to sync or transfer music. Plug the small end into your iPod Nano. Plug the other, larger end into your computer's USB port. Choose "Do Nothing" when your computer presents the dialogue box to let you choose what to do with the hardware or USB connection. Leave your Nano plugged into your computer for at least 4 hours to charge. Unplug your iPod Nano when charging is complete. Charge an iPod Without the Charger Many iPod owners purchase a charging unit that plugs into a standard wall outlet to recharge the iPod's battery. However, the iPod wall charger is not included with new purchases, so consumers must either purchase a separate charger or find a way to charge their iPod using other means. Here's a simple method to charge your iPod using your computer. Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of your iPod. Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on your Mac or PC computer. Open the iTunes program by clicking on the icon in the Dock on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. Click on the name of your iPod under the "Devices" heading in the main iTunes window. Click on the "Sync" button to synchronize your iPod with your computer data. While the iPod is syncing, the power from the USB port on your computer will charge your iPod's battery. Unplug your iPod from the computer once the battery is fully charged. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=images+of+apple+ipod+usb+chargers+&qpvt=images+of+apple+ipod+usb+chargers+&FORM=IGRE - view=detail&id=8DEA58C0DAF392E29FCB03D9C This one should be ok.

I have a 8g ipod nano model number a1199 and i got it awhile back and i lost it. recently i found it and forgot the password. is there anyway i could reset the whole ipod... or whatelce could i do?

The latest iPod Nano includes a locking feature, which allow users to set a four-digit combination to keep intruders from using the device. However, if you find that you forget what code you set on your iPod, you will need an alternate way of unlocking your iPod Nano. Once the device has been successfully unlocked, you can continue listening to music on it. Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano. Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on a Mac or PC computer. Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. Click on the name of your iPod Nano under the "Devices" list in the iTunes window. Click on the "Sync" button to establish a connection between your iPod and the computer. Click on the eject symbol next to your iPod's name after the syncing process has finished. Unplug your iPod Nano. The device will be unlocked and you will be able to access all normal features again. Hope it helps.

How to figure out my passcode for a a 80gb iPod please?

Question edited for clarity and spelling of 'figure'. Question moved from Audio Players and Recorders. You as the owner who set the code is the only one that can figure it out. Connect it to your computer. Log into iTunes, and do a hard reset on it. That will scrub it clean and reload the operating system. Then you can Restore from back up with no passcode.

Help ineed account for my Ipod please help

Step 1:an itunes account ? b> An iPod is a portable media player that lets users listen to music wherever they are. Before you can listen to songs on the iPod, you must first put music onto the device. If you have been using different MP3 players in the past, adding music to an iPod can be slightly confusing. The reason for this is that iPods are not compatible with Windows Media Player, Real Player or Winamp. By using iTunes, however, you can add music to any iPod. • Open iTunes. • 2 Add music to iTunes. To do this, click "File." Choose "Add Folder to Library." Then, find the folder on your computer that holds the music you wish to put onto the iPod. Highlight that folder and click "OK." The music will be put into the iTunes Library. • • 3 Plug the iPod into the computer. After a few seconds, you will see the iPod listed under "Devices" on the left-hand side of iTunes. • 4 Click "Music" under the "Library" option on the left-hand side of iTunes. All of the music files in the iTunes Library will then be shown in the middle of iTunes. • 5 Double-click the album that contains the music you want to put onto the iPod. The songs on that album will then be listed. • 6 Highlight the song you want to add to the iPod. • 7 Drag that file over to the name of your iPod located under "Devices" (as mentioned in Step 3). The song will then be placed onto the iPod. Do this for all of the music you want to put onto the iPod. • 8 Click the "All Albums" button at the top of iTunes to get back to the list of albums on the iTunes Library. • 9 Repeat Steps 5-7 until you are done putting music on the iPod. • 10 Disconnect the player when you are done.

How to fix a iphone is disabled

If your iPhone has been disabled, it is completely locked down. The only way you'll be able to use it again is by restoring it using iTunes or iCloud. If you have a backup, you'll be able to recover your data, but this process will delete everything that is stored on the iPhone. Except for the following four ways, there is no other way to unlock a disabled iPhone. Step 1. Connect your iPhone to the computer with via a USB cable that your iPhone has trusted. Step 2. Launch iTunes. If you've synced your iPhone with iTunes, then no "enter password" is required. Step 3. iTunes will automatically sync your iPhone and create a backup file. If it doesn't, you should sync your iTunes and create a backup file manually by clicking "Back up Now" in the Summary window. Step 4. In the Summary window, you can see the option "Restore iPhone". Click it to reset your iPhone. Once the reset process is complete, you'll be taken through the iPod's initial setup process. Step 5. Select "Restore from iTunes backup" during the setup process. This will load the backup that you created so that all of your data is restored. reset-iphone-password-with-itunes-hraoc4bd1cy3f24n2aesny2m-3-0_0.jpg For more detail, check: How to Unlock A Disabled iPhone with/without iTunes
