Hi I am trying to get a dailing tone but nothing
Firsst of all check the line to the base phone, test with a good phone for confirmation or test the voltage of the line. next clean the surfaces of the handset contacts to the base. check if the battery of the handset is good. if not replace. Next placing the phone on the base should make it detect the base. If the base and the handset does not mate, then you will not get the dial tone. this could be due to failure of the inout due to lightening/ thunderstorms, failure of the optocouplers, the dial switching ICs or the main processor. You will need to check on these electronic sections. I hope this helps. Good day

I have got the panasonic
Hello
Unfortunetly it does not work this way. The extra handsets work of the same base unit. If one phone is being used it takes control of the base unit. If you pick up another handset at the same time it cannot get on the line as another is being used.
I'm sorry there is not a better solution to this problem. Post back if you have any further question's or comments. I will try to be of further assistance. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

Kx-tg1100
On your handset go to "SETTINGS HS" -> "REGISTRATION" -> "CANCEL BS"
This will discard the registration of the handset to any base.
Then go to "SETTINGS HS" -> "REGISTRATION" -> "REGISTER HS"and select the base you want (i.e. BASE 1, BASE 2, ..., BASE n).
After you finish all the above, hold down the "PAGE" button for about 5 secs.
You are now done!!!
Good luck

Model kxtg2432 display disappeared on hand sets
I fixed my Panasonic KXTG 2432 phones by throwing them against the wall and buying another phone set made by another company . I also fixed a set of A.T.T. cordless phones the same way. seems to be the quickest way to feeling better about the garbage electronics being inported into the U.S. what ever happend to pride in workmanship

Number not displayed
it could be possible that the caller is blocking their number. It should show as "unknown" or something like that, maybe even "private". In either case, the person being called would not control the callers sent number, it would be the Telco on the other end
