Phoenix Gold XS2300 Car Audio Amplifier Questions & Answers
Lpf buttion on phoenix gold
LPF is typically Low Pass Frequency, it puts the amp in a state where only low frequency signals will pass thru to the speakers. LPL is for Low Pass Level control, that is used on PG products that have an LPL port. Using a phone style cable and a 50k potentiometer you can control the level of the amp's output.
Power wires are 3?
You have 3 sets of wire connecting to the amp (besides the rca connection), Red is power from the battery, Black is the round wire (shorter the better), lastly Blue is the remote turn on wire. Without the remote turn on, your amp will not power up regardless of the power from the battery.
RCA connectors are for your audio, it carries the noise signal to your amp from the head unit...
Fuse blows constantly !Power light
Possible that the audio output section is short . remove speakers and fix in the fuse to test, if itt blows out the fault must be confirmed by opening of the amp and disconnection of the power output driver. If teh fuse then stays the fault is confirmed. replace and test the speakers in this section before connecting.
Hi, I have a pair of RF prime 6x9s 60w rms, 48hz
Ok for best results.
1.make sure you agust the gain according to person prefrences.
2make sure you set the crossover on the amp.ok in your speakers the would probley sound best if you set the Low pass fillter at 50hz and the high pass fillter at 25khz (if you have one) or on your headunit
Hope this gets the results you want.

Can i hook up a powered 12'sub to a Pheonix Gold
First I hope you remove the speaker wires from the speaker that come from the built in amplifire. You cannot hook the powered sub to the amp without doing that first. Then all you need to do is run speaker wire from the sub out of the box to the amp. In no way can you hook up any other part of the powered sub, but the sub itself, to the amp. If you know the wattage of the sub and the ohms then wire it to the amp correctly. Your phoenix amp will put out 125 watts x 2 at 4 ohms and 250 watts x 2 at 2 ohms and 500 watts x 1 at 4 ohms bridged. Remember, only the sub itself in the sub enclosure can be connected to the amp. Hope this helped you. Let me know if you need more help. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at
