No, don't chuck yet. Pull the black lever toward the USB port on the bottom of the camera. Then pull the camera apart. You will find two AA batteries located inside that need to changed.

You will need to post a few more details of your camera.
Do you have a manual?
Is it a Micro pix, Max, 2.0 or 3.0?
The brand and model # would help.

If you're using a USB hub, take it out of the problem. Connect your camera directly to the computer. Hubs sometimes scramble pictures.

hi, i had trouble getting the computer to recognize the camera to get the pictures off. it seems that the drivers for the camera were not included on the install CD, but they can be found here:

just click on the first download under the "Driver Downloads" section.

If you connect the cable from the camera to the computer, the computer will treat it like it is another disk drive. Open Windows Explorer and look for an extra drive. It might even give your camera name. If all else fails, find the company you need the disk from on their web site. They usually have a support section that allows you to download manuals and software for your camera. Good luck!

Computer does not recognize camera and unable to download pix???? It sounds like a bad usb cable connection. Try purchasing a new cable.

Set setting to AUTO.
Charge batery or change batery.
Diract it to a lighted spot use external light.
set mode to power save and extend time to longer period.

Assicurati che il software sia compatibile con il sistema che usi, la camera potrebbe non essere compatibile con windows vista.

Se il software e'compatibile, assicurati di aver installato il software prima di connettere la camera con il cavo USB.
