If that doesn't correct the problem, check to see if your sound card is supported or is compatible with Windows 7

Shut down by holding in Power button for 5 secs... press F8 continuously on start up, go into Safe Mode with Networking.. have a look around at some of the Devices in Device Manager, check Drivers, also default to normal mode in Bios/Uefi

Hi, tried the vista x64 drivers? http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=M2N-MX&os=22 Offical Win7 64bit drivers are not available for this board. Otherwise you can check for your chipsets (Which gpu chip, which audio chip, which LAN chip etc.) and take a look at the site of its manufacturers. (For example its often realtek for lan chips.)

Unless you are using a high end motherboard with the latest chipset, you will find it very difficult to get an "onboard" graphics chip to output that resolution. And your motherboard just doesn't have the power to display at that resolution. You will need to find a graphics card that will display that kind of resolution. The Nvidia GTX 650 or the Radeaon 7750 are both capable of handling that display and are cheap (in terms of graphics cards anyway).
