its power supply fault power supply spares are normal available electronics shop or buy from ebay also. check fuse,diode,transistor & opto cupler

1. Press tv on your Sky remote control.

2. Press and hold down select and the red button together until the red light at the top of your Sky remote control flashes twice.

3. Press tv again

Then enter the remote control code using the number keypad. The red light will flash twice if a valid code has been entered.

4. Point your Sky remote control at your TV and press the Power button. If this turns the off as you'd expect, then the tv should be set, press Select and the remote should work

5. If the TV does not turn off press tv, then press the Power button again, repeat this process until the TV turns off, when the TV turns off press Select.

The problem that is happening is due to the shutdown circuit activating, which is an indication of excessive current flow. This may indicate a problem in the High Voltage section or in the power supply feed from the HV section. In any case this problem is best dealt with by a trained professional. I would suggest that you take the TV to a qualified TV repair person and have them check it out.

Vertical output IC has the fault. Try this site named "Electro-help". You might get details from here. Type this name in google search box and click enter.

These models are subject to burn out, contact Samsung and they can give you further information or ever swap your model for another.

If the power indicator is blinking on the front of the VIERA, turn off the TV and unplug all HDMI cables that are connected to the TV. Then unplug the power cable from the current power source. Try a different electrical outlet. Remove the power cable from the rear of the TV and plug it back it in (the power cable tab is inserted correctly when you hear a click).

You will need an HD receiver (Freeview HD, Freesat HD or Sky). For Freeview HD you'll need to check whether it's being broadcast in your area yet. Check the freeview site

Problem with RGB circuit.

Hi, Sorry this is not a fix but i wanted to say that i have the same problem on my tv which is the same model as yours.
At start tv would show faint parallel diagonal lines until some day it stopped working. Everytime i try to turn it on it doesnt! and makes a ticking sound from the back of the tv. Did you fix yours btw?
