I would like tone port ux2

Hello, I've got a problem with my toneport ux2. the clip light are flashing. even after installing installation software. does any body know how to solve the problem?

This guide will be very helpful as far as the chugging noise is concerned. please let me know if you need further assistance.

More than likely your cable is old and should be replaced. Monster cables are a bit more expensive but come with a life time warranty, check em out. If the cable replacement doesn't work, check the sound card. Make shire it is not loose, or full of dust. It may be the sound card is old and needs to be replaced. Another option is the guitar itself. Try plugging it into an amp to make sure it doesn't pop. If it does the same on the amp, you have a problem with your pick ups or the cable connection to the guitar. Hope that helps.

Midi connectors have a small bump on the cord plug. Usually the silver part. Line up the bump on the cord with the bump on the plug in and push. It should go in the hole OK if you just line it up correctly.

Check out your speaker settings in Sounds and Audio devices, in your control panel.

Start - Control panel - Sounds and audio devices - Check the speaker volume under the "volume" tab and the volume controls for audio playback under the "Audio" tab.

hi, as a company policy Line 6 do not give out circuit diagrams of there products , therefore you would need to take or send your unit to a authorised service centre .

i had the same thing- go to windows device manager and DISABLE you wireless connection. Even if you disconnected from the internet, the wireless cards job is to be aware of wireless signals and be prepared to connect. Once you are finished, ENABLE the wireless card.

The drivers that come with gearbox do not work with snowleopard and windows 7. Ok pull out the usb connector of your UX2, then restart, next look in applications/line 6/drivers and there you will find a program that allows you to uninstall the drivers for UX2. Restart, and then go to the line 6 supportpage look for the free download page, search for toneport UX2 - drivers - osx and check the betabox. download the two or three drivers, install them (restart after installing a driver then install the next driver) restart, then start up gearbox and plug in the usb cable of your toneport!
The drivers are not yet the final drivers, they are still beta versions, march 19, line 6 expects to have the final drivers for snowleopard and windows 7.

you can do the following checks:
1.
mark the Volume icon in the systemtray and right mouse click, select the first entry and check if the mute checkbox is checked, if so uncheck it.
2.
Go to start, configuration, select sound and audio icon,
On the first tab, do you see your speakers?
Check your advanced speaker settings.

set windows audio to automatic
click Start -> Run … enter:services.msc
Click OK, a services window will appear, scroll to windows Audio, double click
Windows Audio Properties will appear. Change startup type to “Automatic
First click Apply, then click on start to start the service

Test direct sound output:
Go to start, run and type dxdiag in the box, hit enter.
(be patient it can take a while ...)
in the dxdiags window select the sound tab, you will see the information about your driver and you can test your direct sound.
