Lens doesn't retract

This might be a lens fault and a repair is recommended.

If it also switch off when not retracting then it could also be a no power issue.

You could try following:
Make sure that you are installing a fresh/ full charge battery
Remove the memory card and the battery
Clean the metal contacts on the battery using a clean cloth
Use the camera w/o the memory card

Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.

Kodak digital camera error L03

L03 means that the firmware does not have the correct checksum. Firmware has to be reinstalled. I can help you do this, but as firmware files and the way they are updated are considered confidential, I can't help you here in public. You can contact me at [email protected] (skype too by this e-mail).

I want to change laguage from Swedish to English.

The customer cannot go to setup menu because he won't be able to read it - it's in Swedish

This is what I need you to do.
Press the menu button (base everything on symbols/icons) - You would see a menu in swedish but on top are tabs. The rightmost tab is a camera with a ranch symbol - so move the joystick to the rightmost tab. Scroll down to the option with a BUBLLE SYMBOL with ABC on it, press in the joystick (toggle switch) to enter or select and scroll down look for ENGLISH.

I dropped my kodak digital camara and when it fell

Hi, the lens may have been knocked crooked, unless you can straighten it you won't be able to get the lens to come out.
Look at it closely to see if it looks uneven on its edge. The other possiblilty is that a circuit has been knocked loose or broken inside.
the only thing you can try is 1. Knock it straight if its crooked. 2. take it apart to do a visual of the insides.
Because these cameras
cost around $150 its not worth sending in for repair.

V1003 will not power up

Your fix could be as simple as cleaning the camera's battery contacts, or it could be something more serious and expensive. First try removing the batteries and cleaning the camera contacts with a small metal brush, steel wool, or fine sandpaper. If that doesn't fix the problem, check the Kodak Help Center by clicking on the link below. It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.
