According to your problem description,it seems to be problem with your Sony Ericson MBD due to rain.If your phone circuit may shorted to rain drops,it may damaged internal parts of uour set. So you have to replace Sony Ericson mainboard with new one.

You go to your messege settings and select messege centre number. In most of the cases it is Messenge Center1. Then take out your sim and re-insert after waiting for few seconds.

First please make a backup of your phone's memory and contacts using the tools you can find on your official CDs provided with your phone. You will need to do a master reset of your phone. Go to control panel of your phone, select the tab "other" and then select master reset. This procedure may take a while and it will make your phone be exactly like you purchased it and IT WILL DELETE all programs, games etc you have installed. Also your contact numbers, sms etc will be deleted. The phone's "software" is composed of phone flash version, flex and SEEM's. A flash is a user interface with the phone (what you see on the display, controls, graphics etc), the flex (firmware) is related to the phone's hardware functions and the SEEM's are hexazecimal tables that relate the flash to the flex sistem. From what you say, I think the SEEM's are written incorect, thus resulting in incompatibilities with the flex version and stupid errors that occur as the flash attemts to intruct the flex to do something but it understand other things. A way to solve this is a full reflash, this can be done only in a phone service.
