You're gonna wanna cycle the video input by pressing
1. Video Source
2. Input
3. TV/Video
4. Source
on your remote or your TV itself. Eventually you'll find it.

TV remote quit working
Here is my blog how to repair remote controls:
Here is my blog on the subject how to repair remote controls

To dignose if your remote control is faulty just point your digital camera towards your remote and push the buttons.
If your remote works you should see light flashing on the LCD view finder of your camera.
Repairing the remotes can be succesful about 90% of the time unless the remote has been chewed by the family dog ?

Xbox 360 game mode
Make sure your xbox is set to plain TV instead of HDTV. There is a switch on the cord that plugs directly into the back of the xbox.

Can't watch dvd
You need the original remote controller to be able to switch input modes.Universal ones don't work. If you
don't have the original remote and can't find it ever then the only way to reach
your tv is through coaxial antenna port. So
you can buy an rf modulator ( very cheap) and connect your red yellow
and white cables (rca cables from a dvd, game console
etc) to the modulator then connect the modulator to your antenna with a
coax cable. This worked for me. It placed the connection to channel 4
and other channels are still working,
You can buy the RF Modulator from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180299245670

Settting tv to a higher channel for cable`
Most TVs have a choice of air or cable in the menu portion of the tv. press menu go to setup and from there you should see an option that says air/antenna or cable. You will have to either toggle to get the air selection or highlight it. Then you should be able to get to channels you need.
An easier solution may be to go to the Dish receiver that controls the image on the tv you can't get to 73. With tv and satellite on (make sure both green and blue lights are on) press on your Dish remote #1 with the green tab on the bottom the following sequence: MENU - 6-1-5. tHIS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE MODULATOR SET UP PAGE. Move the highlight from cancel to the mode section an highlight AIR and press select. Then move the highlight back to the right to DONE and press select. Press cancel three times or view live tv. then go to the other tv and put it on ch 60.
Hope this assists you.
