Hitachi DZ-MV200A DVD Camcorder Questions & Answers
I have a Hitachi DZ-MV200A NTSC that not stop
This sounds like the laser lens is getting out of adjustment, and having difficulty reading the dvd before shutdown. You can try to clean the lens, hoping that's the problem (and it could be). Otherwise, the lens intensity will have to be adjusted. This would be quite a job, and better left to professionals. I would take it into a camera repair facility and see what they would charge to fix it.
Get an estimate first, since the cost of repair can be high.
Good luck, thanks for using FixYa, and hope this helps.

I have a hitachi camcorder and have been unable to
If you want to record your happy days, and family growing up, AND be able to view films in years to come, you should NOT use any other sort of camera than Digital 8, it has been going for donkeys years, it is reliable (DVD disks have never been working 100% a fail rate in DVD of over 80% today is simply not good enough.
Get Digital 8 camera from good shops on the net or Ebay sellers.
Please let me know how you get on okay?

How to transfer videos on the computer??
hi friend,
step 1
Check out the specs of your camcorder and computer, to see the kind of connection you need to transfer video to your PC. Most Macs and some PCs come with
firewire cable ports. Check for the port.
Step 2
Install a PCI card, if your computer does not support firewire so you will be able to use the firewire cable. You can buy one at an electronics store.
Step 3
Shop for video editing software if you plan to edit your video. Find out what kind of file format your video editing software is compatible with. File formats are avi, mpg, mov, moov, movie or qt.
Step 4
Make sure the computer and the camera is on. Plug the cable into the appropriate location on your video camera, which varies on different models of camcorders. It should be labeled.
Step 5
Plug the other end of the cable into the computer in the appropriate spot. This will vary depending on the model. It will usually be located on the side or the back of the computer. Your computer should automatically detect your camcorder.
Step 6
Open the footage in your video editing software and capture it if you plan on editing it. If you just want to put the video on your PC, just save it to your hard drive as an avi file.
Step 7
Use your video editing software. Make all editing changes. If you need help, read the tutorials in the software.
Step 8
Copy the digital video to a DVD when you are done.
Step 9
Disconnect the firewire cable. You will not need to turn off the computer to do this.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){
var $this = jQuery(this);
$this.find('img').error(function(){
jQuery(this).remove();
$this.remove();
});
});
Tips & Warnings
-
If you don’t see an firewire port, use the windows "device manager" to find out if it is installed.
-
If you are using Windows XP, then you will have the software to capture video with the Windows Movie Maker program. If you have an older windows you will need to buy video editing software.
-
You will need a lot of storage space on your computer, because video files tend to take up a lot of space.
hope this helps u

Hitachi DZ-MV200A DVD Camcorder
You can get them at Best buy. You must buy the same disc as it is spelled out on the side of the camera. Buy, DVD-RAM/R. There are DVD+ and DVD-, you must be sure to buy just like it's printed on the camera (just under the viewfinder).

Hello, my Hitachi VM-H675LA is having some problems.
Hi,
Please use the yellow pages website to find a camera shop that can help fix your camera. If that does not work, you can take it to your local Geeksquad/Bestbuy and they can work on the camera for you. Otherwise, you might also call Hitachi directly to ask them about the nearest repair shop that you could send the camera to.
Thank you.
