The problem can only be either a software or a hardware issue. First try the software as its most likely the problem. Download a good known virus free burning software; Express Burn has a good trial copy. If you make a CD with the new software and it works, it was the software, if it you have the same results then its a hardware issue. First try cleaning the players lens, if that does not work the player has failed.

My disk cd-R cant burn any songs
I suggest you look at the file format that you are saving your songs as. It might be that you are saving them at too high a quailty than what you need. Have a look at the disc you have done see what the file is and it's size.
Cd is not showing up on xbox 360 as playable.
try changing the format of whatever it is. if it is a game, then try it on another xbox. if it works then its the xboxs fault. if the CD still doesnt work, then you might wanna get a different game. still if it isnt a game and its a mp3 or soemthing, then look for formats that the 360 supports
I tried to burn my kodak pictures with it and it
There are different grades of cd media. Maxwell is usually a pretty good grade. That said, there are a few things that could cause this. Your drive may be malfunctioning, this could be a bad batch of cd's, or the software you are using to burn disks us having issues with the device drives for the Drive.
The first and most easiest way to troubleshoot this is to try media from somewhere else. If you can use different media and you have no problems, then you have a bad batch of CDs. If it still malfunctions, then you have a bad drive or bad device drivers. You can delete your drive from the device manager and let windows reload it when you reboot. I doubt that i the problem takes little effort to test. Last, you may need to clean your drive. There are inexpensive CD drive cleaning disks available. If all that doesn't work, then you most likely have a bad drive and will have to replace it. Very simple to do. After replacing it, Windows will see it when you turn the power back on.
