There are no end of problems with HP printer driver software. I've had them too. The most likely success will come from completely UNINSTALLING the present HP printer software (ALL OF IT) and reinstalling the MOST CURRENT PRINTER DRIVER for your computer operating system. You download that driver from hp.com by inserting your model number an following the screen instructions. There is a companion PRINTER DOCTOR tool from HP that you should also download just in case you continue to have a problem after you install the new driver. I can't stress to much how important it is to completely remove all traces of the HP software from your computer first before you reinstall using the latest driver. Failure to do so will cause you continued problems.
Also, if you want to minimize other software issues, after you've downloaded the most recent driver, REMOVE your Antivirus Program if you are using one. I found that there were conflicts caused by Kaspersky AV firewall settings that HP software did not over come. I reinstalled Kaspersky AV after the HP software install and everything worked fine then. The necessity of this step seems to be computer-dependent. I have 3 pcs, all running Win10 Home and only ONE of them required this extreme step in order to get the software to function completely ok.
Why am i getting blank copies from my printer
The chances are good that what U need to do is a printhead cleaning. On the printer if it has a LCD screen scroll through the menus and look for Maintenance or tools and then look for printhead cleaning . It can also be done through the software by going to the top left hand corner of the page U are trying to print and click on the button or File scroll down to print and click on that and that brings up a box with your printer name in it and beside that is a box called properties and look for maintenance or tools there. After the printhead cleaning it will ask if U want to print a test page - say yes if that page looks good -problem solved but it will probably take a few cleanings if U R getting blank pages now. Warning repeated cleanings use a lot of ink so only do what you need to. If after several cleanings U are still getting blank pages U might need to replace the printhead
