Hi,Seems like your hard disk is not getting detected.Press the power button and hold it down for 20 seconds(without the battery or adapter plugged in to it). This process is called POWER DRAIN.Start tapping the DEL key as soon as you power on the computer.This will take you to the BIOS screen.If it doesn't, you will have to check whether your hard disk is faulty with a local technician.Once you get in to the BIOS screen, press F9 to load the default settings.Than press F10 to save and exit.Once you do this, the computer will restart.Hope this helps.

Hi,Remove the adapter and the battery from the laptop. Press the power button and hold it down for 20 seconds(without the battery or adapter plugged in to it). This process is called POWER DRAIN. Now connect only the adapter and try to turn it on. If it starts up, there is no problem with the adapter or the laptop. If it doesn't, it can be either the adapter or the laptop. You will have to check it with a different adapter to confirm which one is faulty. The second case is that the computer powers on only with the adapter. Then you can put the battery back in and try powering it up. If it doesn't work, try connecting the adapter too. If still it doesn't work, its a faulty battery. Sometimes after doing a power drain, the computer will work fine. If you have any more issues, feel free to contact me.

Under the drivers tab, you will find all the drivers you need for your laptop. Don't forget to select the Operating system or else the drivers will not show up.

Not booting

Acer Iconia Tab A500 mfg. 2011, now 11 year old. the battery is now end of life, called BAD replace it. 11 year old batteries are no good now.
