Windows Startup with a blank screen after quickcam software
Hmm. It seems as if the driver isnt compatible with your hard ware! (sounds very stupid i know) This could be your graphics processor, motherboard, web cam or simply a combination of all three. Id recommend seeing if you can get hold of quickcam software from another vendor.(Just to ensure its not the software version.
If that doesnt work them im pretty sure that your laptop will not support it.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=33739&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=228&product=92994
Sorry to be so blunt. If you have the time maybe you could try a fresh install then install quick cam first. If it still goes black screen it wasnt meant to be.
