why doy you need cd rom, it is far easier to visit dlink website. below is their instructions for setting router manually, remove the extensions if they are not what you want

Type 'cmd' into the search-box, and press ENTER.
Type 'IPCONFIG /ALL'.
Look for the IP-address of the "gateway" or "DHCP-server".
Type that IP-address into your web-browser.

Connect your computer to your router.
It should automatically get an IP-address.
Click the Windows "Start" button (Windows 7).
Type 'cmd' into the search-box.
Press ENTER.
Type 'IPCONFIG /ALL'.
Look for the IP-address of the "gateway", or the IP-address of the "DHCP-server".
That is the IP-address that you want to type into your web-browser.

Straighten one end of a paper-clip.
Push it into the hole in the back of the router.
Hold it for 30 seconds.
The router is now set to "factory" settings,
including the original ID/password.
