Go to the navman website download the latest version of the updater software (if its not done already) and check the maps section as it will automatically update as much as it can but you can always buy newer map versions with more features.

To open the unit there are 4 screws, 2 are on the base. There are also 2 on the back at the top that are hidden by rubber plugs. Remove the plugs using a small flat screwdriver.
