Your Sony has several varieties of possible connections.
They include,

• HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface)

• Component video
• S VIDEO
• Composite video
• RF/Coaxial

Make sure that the appropriate choice with in the menu "SETUP" option matches the connection at the rear.
If this is done correctly and you still have now picture it may be an issue with the cable or the connector on the end. Check the tip to make sure that there is between 1/8 to 1/4 inch of the internal wire past the end of the connector.
If this looks ok try a different hook up such as the "S-VIDEO" cable and seperate left and right audio "RCA" cable.
If you have no image after trying one of the other connection types then the issue may be with the TV itself which would require servicing.

Ur video board have burn capacitor,check the board connect to the CRT board connected to the tv tube.

U got parent bloking.Remove with codes or reset.

Ur high voltage is dead or dying.The FBT call the Fly Back Transformer is dead or dying.U can tries unplug the tv about an hour,might get the high voltage back temporally will happen again later.The big block of plastic with the red wire with a cap to ur CRT(tv tube).That ur prob.

This is a Vertical circuit failure. A number of parts can cause this. Vertical Output IC and or any of the peripheral components that work with it. Sorry, that is all I have for this.

try deguassing the picture tube using a professional deguassing coil if not replace picture tube

I had the same problem with a old Sony TV.

To find out if the problem is temporary

1. Turn off the television.

IMPORTANT: For a projection television that uses an internal lamp, wait 5 minutes after turning off the television to allow the lamp to cool before continuing with the following steps.

2. Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.

3. Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.

4. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.



NOTE: If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.

5. Turn on the television.

If the light is still flashing the tv has stop working and you will need to buy a new one.

Have you connect all the component video out cables from DVD to your WEGA TV? if so just set your tv to dvd input.

Probably in 98% of TVs having the same problem solution is only one, to check and ensure that each electrolytic capacitor of the power supply unit is properly working, but you'll need equipment, which is expensive, so cheaper would be to replace low voldage capacitors, as they might by dry over time. For ordinary TV it would be 2-8 dollars in capacitors, to replace all of them. Or If you're experienced, try to test them using multimeter. You'll need to watch the discharge time.

The high pitch squeal you hear is usually caused by a coil vibrating, normally in the horizontal circuit. I've also seen the ferrite bead on the horizontal output transistor do this, but, it is rare. I normally will repair this by finding the coil and "tightening" it. To tighten a coil, technicians use different chemicals, such as, a hot glue gun, rubber silicone or even finger nail polish. I will find the coil that screams by starting with the usual suspects and using a wooden dowel, barely touch the coil and if the pitch of the noise changes, then, thats the coil that needs repaired. If you do not know your way around the inside of a television, I never recommend you do so, since, this procedure must be done with the set turned on and you poke your hands around the inside of the set by the high voltage circuit. Hope this helps your decision.

KV-32HS510 and KV-27HS420, seven times blink error code shows problem in Horizontal deflection circuit.

There are many possibilities like dry solder joints, weak capacitors, Horizontal transistor short or flyback transformer fried etc.

If you have little experience of TV repair and good solder skills and have necessary tools to test / check defective parts, then you can make it. you also need to have related service manual to see board location, schematics and part numbers.

You may have a defective dynamic focus circuit or or the Hi Voltage transformer. if your not a tech it is advised that you call in a trained tech as this is not a place for an experimenter to be. TO MUCH HI VOLTAGE and will make you cry if you live!!!!Good Luck

This TV is 10 years old and probably requires a service that replaces the backlight invertor or just a power supply issue. Check to see if the light blinks. (That is the fault code and then google the result for more information).
