let it dry out for a few days

if it still doesnt work you could try opening up tv and try replacing fuse inside

if it was just plain water it will be ok once it dries out

if replacing fuse didnt work power supply might need to be repaired or replaced

The main power regulator section to your TV is faulty. Check the capacitors there for any damage.

Check its main power regulator circuit section for any loose solder terminals. Re-solder all suspected solder terminals by applying a little more fresh solder.

1. Eight blinks - Problem with the audio (AUDIO), unit goes to standby and blinks the self-diagnosis code. Check IC406 audio amp, PS401, and 402. On some projection models of Sony TV sets, this code means that T8005 (flyback transformer), or the associative components in the high voltage circuits are defective on the D board.

Check this card, for any loose solder.
