Sounds like you have a build that needs an update. I suggest using no limits magic build which you can find on you tube. I have been using this build for almost a year and they lately have been updating about every 2 weeks. Why this build, because I find it to be most complete of all the ones I have seen. They have 2 versions one of which is made for fire stick.

Your remote might be in voice mode. To take it out of voice mode press the "Menu" and "Back" buttons simultaneously. This should make it clickable.
