Easy solution is to press ok on remote when viewing any program.this will bring up the menu bar at bottom of screen then you scroll over to the right until you come to audio.in the drop down menu is advance and retard for audio sync which you can adjust using remote until it syncs on screen video.then click back out to full screen.
How do I fix it?
You can actually save the zip file from a computer or laptop if you can locate the zip via internet.then store it onto micro sd and then point from the file manager to its location.sounds like you do have a configuration problem within the fire stick.i have tried 14.2 with issues and reverted back to 14.0 which runs absolutely fine.when you have installed all the addons you want go into the program to find totalinstaller or whichever maintenance program you have and delete all the packages as these are really temp files from installs which are not necessary.delete cache again using zero config makes the CPU work harder in some cases.also worth hunting for the kodi location on the stick which may be hidden..you can reveal hidden files locate the kodi main folder ...data...and empty or delete cache files that refuse to move by conventional means..good luck.ps have you not tried the latest tv addon pack... tvmc.... which is less intensive with most of the usual addons preinstalled.

If you are referring to your router, is it from your Internet service provider (ISP)? If so, you can call them.
If not from them and you bought it from a retail outlet, you can...
1. open your web browser like IExplorer.
2. in the address bar (Where you type in the URL (web address like www.?) type your router's IP address example:192.168.1.1
and enter the user name and password to access the router. Or
3. Press and hold the reset button on the router and start from scratch using the router's setup wizzard making a new password.
4. Using a button located on your router use the router to give permission to allow the device to access it.

Picture keeps jumping every 5 seconds - how can I fox it?
Possible a Hardware related acceleration issue ...if you are trying to watch 1080 p then the buffer on the stick is not able to refresh each frame rate successfully.due to low ram....try choosing 720 instead.check hardware acceleration is ticked in its menu.
test the stick by switching hdmi slots too and reinserting if you only have one slot .i run a smart box and this eventually flickers with 1080 p yet it has 2gb ram.hope this helps.restarting usually helps.

make sure that your wifi is a good signal,if you are using a lower tier internet service then it wont work,call your internet provider and verify that your internet is sufficient,also use 5ghz wifi,not 2.8ghz.

straight from amazon,reset firestick,
Please unplug the Fire TV stick from power source and then plug it again after 5 seconds.
Once the Fire TV stick is back on, please take batteries out of the remote and re-insert

also,xfinity remote controls work with firestik tv in place of the original remote,program it for a vizio tv and forget the original remote!

you need an amazon acct and you need to register the firestick to your acct,if it is registered to someone else it will only work for them and they will need to remove it from their acct
I have been on here all night and i still can,t get netflix
download the netflix app,enter your credit card info to buy netflix service,,it should work,also,

The tv show or movie loads in Amazon, Netflix, Acorn, etc... I can see it but then it won't play. I can forward it but it still won't play.
