Need software disk for my
Hello
There is no software disc for this unit, panasonic only has manuals, usb cable and replacement components for this unit.
To connect it to a pc, plug it to the usb port on a computer, PC should appear and flash on the screen. wait unti stops flashing.
Device will appear in my computer or computer as a removeable storage device, you can copy recordings from it to the computer. That is the only function it has.

I also need drivers for mine. How come we can't
I called Panasonic -- same problem -- they said I have to BUY the software from them! And when I asked for a complaint address to voice my opinion, I was given a "yahoo" email address to email the complaint to -- A Multi-Million Dollar company cannot offer better service than this! CRAZY!!!!

I have an mp3 recorder from panasonic, rr-us570, I
Under Linux it showed up as a disk with one partition
and a VFAT filesystem, though I had to mount it manually. No problem copying or playing files.
Under XP it didn't appear as a disk. It did come with a CD but I left that at home.
Normally, you just find the device under "my computer", explore the filesystem on it until you get the right one, then drag it into your mail client.
