YAMAHA CRW8424 gives Track following error..

PROBLEM DEFINITION: Basically, it is a hardware error that occurs when a drive is not capable of following a data track on a CD-R or CDRW or on the other hand, poor power flow may cause the problem SOLUTION: 1. Try use another disc, a disc with a different band. 2. If one doesn't work, you may have to open your system and use a different power connector, making sure no other devices are using the power connector in the same strand. 3. How do i update the drivers for a crw 2100 e burner?

The drivers are part of the operating system. So make sure your operating system Is up to date or upgrade to the latest operating system Windows 10.

If the device does not work with Windows 10 then it's not worth keeping when hardware today is so cheap.

My CD NO HDMI WILL NOT PLAY THRU MY RX-V372 Yamaha RECIEVER with HDMI . So I tried to use rca plugs & no help must have made mistake. Can u help

Based on the information provided, it seems that the CD player is not compatible with the HDMI input on the Yamaha RX-V372 receiver. This is likely due to the fact that the CD player does not have an HDMI output. In order to play the CD player through the receiver, you will need to use analog RCA cables. Make sure that you have connected the RCA cables to the correct inputs on both the CD player and the receiver. The CD player should be connected to one of the analog audio inputs on the receiver, such as "CD" or "Aux". Once you have connected the cables, select the appropriate input on the receiver using the input selector knob or button. It is also possible that there may be an issue with either the CD player or the receiver. If you continue to experience problems, try testing each component separately to determine where the issue lies. In summary, if your CD player does not have an HDMI output, you will need to use analog RCA cables to connect it to your Yamaha RX-V372 receiver. Make sure that you have connected the cables correctly and selected the appropriate input on the receiver.

I cant find a keyster carb kit for a 1981 yamaha xt 25j

1. Contact your local Yamaha dealer or motorcycle shops: They might have access to parts that are not available online, or they could have suggestions on where to find the specific carburetor kit you're looking for.

2. Join online forums or social media groups for Yamaha XT owners or vintage motorcycle enthusiasts: You might find other owners who have encountered similar issues and could provide information on where they found parts or recommend trustworthy suppliers.

3. Widen your search to include alternative brands: While you may be specifically looking for a Keyster carb kit, there might be other brands compatible with your Yamaha XT 25J that are more readily available in your region.

4. Reach out to international suppliers with good reviews: Look for reputable online sellers, like websites or eBay stores with positive customer reviews and good return/exchange policies, even if they are located overseas. Contact them to inquire about shipping to South Africa and any additional costs associated with it.

Yamaha rx-459 turns on & then turns off within 1 second.

The issue you're describing with your Yamaha RX-459 turning on and then off within 1 second is likely a thermal protection problem. The TMP PRT:000 H error code suggests that the unit is shutting down due to overheating. This can be caused by several issues such as a clogged air filter, inadequate ventilation, or a malfunctioning cooling fan. You can try cleaning the air filter and making sure the unit has proper ventilation. If the problem persists, it could be a sign of a malfunctioning cooling fan or another issue with the unit's internal components. I would recommend contacting a professiona

Why do you insist that the torque specs for a Ford Thunderbird or any kind of car or truck for that matter is proper specifications for a Yamaha 125 Breeze your website sucks

No one on here is going to tell you the wrong torque settings for any truck or car . You will have to go by makers specs. Which will be found on any makers website . Any garage where you have tyres changed always tell you after 100 kilometres to come back and have them rechecked . Saftey first .

How do I install a Yamaha USB-MIDI driver when I keep getting error saying: "Error 025001. No device is connected. Connect a device, and try again." ?

I would guess either the device is faulty, the USB port is faulty or there is a software glitch. It used to happen to me a lot and it was usually a software problem - I can't prove it but I believe it was a conflict between the operating system and Nero, the cd burning programme. Such things hardly happen since I stopped trying to use Nero. Software conflicts weren't unusual with low cost programmes which would "borrow" bits of Windows but fail to give them back when the programme was uninstalled. The easiest way forward was to format the drive and reinstall the operating system.

Hello, I use a yamaha e433 keyboard which was working perfectly. There was a day the power supply to my home was very low such that it can't even charge a mobile, so my cousin connected wire to the keyboard battery section directly to light without adapter. He said the keyboard flickered for seconds then went dead. Now when connected through adapter to light it just make a hum and does not power on. Same thing with batteries. The keyboard has a fuse on the power board, could it be blown , or the whole power board..please help

So to confirm he connected power directly to the battery springs? What voltage did he connect to those springs? If it was more than 12v you have almost certainly done some internal damage. As best you may have blown a few diodes which are there to protect from small voltage overruns - at worst probably burnt out the motherboard. If you do not know how to check these it is probably advisable to take to a repair centre. Becketts Music www.beckettsmusic.co.uk

I took apart my Yamaha CVP-209 and cleaned the keys. But when I put it back together and turned it on: no sound! I tried the master reset but it did not give me sound, even thru the headphone jack.

So what are you getting? Power light, screen display, just no sound? Try pressing a demo tune - does that work? If it does then you may have a problem with the connector from keybed to motherboard. If no sound just try connecting the disc drive up again - if this then makes it work it is probably hanging during the start up procedure. Report back if you need to and we can try something else. How do i reset my yamaha dx 100 back to original factory settings

yamaha dx100 reset. Press voice switches 1 and 2 while turning power switch on. Display will say test entry?. press the plus/yes button. This will reinitialize all memory to factory settings. Also the lithium ram backup battery voltage will be displayed as check level with a number representing the battery voltage. The number will be 10 times the actual battery voltage. A new battery will display 33 representing 3.3 volts. If your reading is below 22 then your battery is shot and will need replacing and if you turn the unit off it will probably get a scrambled memory again.

Tyros 1 cutting out screen goes grey and restarts

Guessing that some people think a Tyros 1 is a PC or something. If the Tyros goes blank screen and all the lights go out then it is most likely the REG board (regulators) that provide the 5v and 3.3v. This overheats and the devices shutdown. Quite often this is cured with a restart on more serious cases the regulators need replacing. As they are cheep it is best to replace all while the unit is apart. I am just about to do this repair on a Tyros I purchased the other day.

Yamaha AW4416 retrieved from long time storage hangs up on initializing recorder message when booted. Suspect flat battery in RTC chip?

AW4416 Users - HELP needed!
I think my hard drive crashed or is in trauma! It 'froze up' so I shut it down. When I try to restart it it never gets past the "Initializing the Recorder Section" window. The HD's red light is on without any intermittent blinking.

Is there a trick to get it to boot up so I can back some stuff up?

Last year when I had lots of stuff on the HD I had occasional freeze-ups but it always came back. Then when that project was finished I got all of it off the HD into a backup and the AW has been smooth for more than a year. Recorded a CD for a local string Quartet and everything was good. When that wrapped up I wiped the HD again and started a CD for myself. Not a lot of songs or tracks yet but some stuff I really don't want to lose if possible.
Hard lesson to learn.

Bill from PA, are you out there? any other AW4416 users?

the AW user forum (socialentropy.com) seems dead! I've gotten some great help there!

Thanks
