Mainboard damaged and need to be replaced, try EBAY for a general picture of prices but you will need your product code wich is located in the back of the TV next to serial number.

make sure you dont have a device plugged with two differents cables ie. HDMI and AV or HDMI and COMPONENT

It may be a wire has come loose. Check your video inputs. Especially if you have animals or small children. On certain video inputs you lose color if one wire comes loose.

You need qualified tech to get it replaced because it is complicated job and some times complete color engine need to be replaced.

The model you listed is a rear projection DLP set that uses a lamp and not a CRT. The part number for the lamp is 6912B22007A and is just the bulb itself. Meaning when your go to replace it you have to remove the old lamp from its housing and carefully install the new bulb in the old housing. You will want to use latex gloves so you don't leave fingerprints on the new lamp as it will shorten the life if it.

Lets statrt with the obvious, did the lamp that you replaced showed any type of damage(blown, broken) and when you put in the replacement lamp did you also replaced the lamp cover? or at least remembered to activate the door switch? these tvs have a starter board if everything checks out see if you get any type of activation sound whent you turn the power on, kind of a click sound and another thing to look for is the ventilation fan, is it activating when you push the power button?

By looking at the photo of the ballast on eBay, it doesn't appear to match the one that is in my television, but I haven't looked at it lately, but I will check it later this week and see if it perhaps matches. My set actually has a new bulb already in it, so I really won't need other bulbs right now since I don't have any extra money for backup parts. I might be interested in your ballast if our tvs take the same one; but like I said, I'll check later this week when i get back home and I'll let you know if it fits or not. Thanks, -Travis

In most cases like yours, the connector has a bad solder joint inside the TV. This occurs from strain from where the HDMI cable gets bumped or bent against a wall or something drops on it. If your skilled and brave, you can go into the TV and check the DVI conector and how well it is soldered in place. Repair the solder joint if this is the case. Good luck. Just think of how proud you will be to have repaired this yourself.
