I have a konica minolta pagepro 1350w and the error light is on but I don't know what the problem is, nor how to find out what the problem is. isn't there a way to get the printer or computer to display the problem
You have installed a refilled cartridge without changing the chip on the bottom of the cartridge. Your error light will flash and also upon starting your computer, you will probably get an error screen saying the bi-directional connection is disabled. The printer should still work, but will be slow because it recycles between each page. My error light has been flashing for some time, but when I send a document to the printer, the error light stops flashing and the printer prints. After the print job is done, the error light resumes flashing. The only real solution is to replace the chip on the toner cartridge with a new one.

attempting to install via usb cable on a hp
pavillion dx2736us enterntainment notebook. with an amd turion 64 with nvidia graphics. Followed instructions verbatim from konica. Test page will not print, and it is stuck in the queue. I cannot delete it or restart it. The usb cable is plugged in the port on the left side and the port prior to designating for the konica printer showed as a virtual printing port for the prior installed printer an epson 7800.
I've got the same problem, printer won't print the first document in the queue. Downloaded original 32- bit drivers for Vista from the site of Konica and followed installation instructions. I've got two Pagepro 1300W printers and both have the same problem. Printer worked fine till yesterday (March 16,2008). OS: Vista Home premium
Go to control panel, printers, right click the pagepro and select properties. Click the ports tab and make sure that the port is set to a USB port. This did it for me.

I have Konika minolta 1350w Printer, my Pc (win Vista) when I need to print I get a message saying "Output File Name: " and when i put the file name it says " access is denied" need help pls.
OK, download the new driver from the website and install. Next, go to control panel and go to printer. Right click on printer and select "properties" Click the tab that says "ports".... uncheck where it says "print to file" and then check the box that says "USB"... this is what i did and it worked. Good luck!

how to disable this pop-up on konica minolta pagepro 1350w
Open c:\windows\system32
find a file called MSTMON_Q.EXE
right click and rename the file to anything with a file extension .exe, I named it MSTMON.EXE
Create a shortcut to this new file in case you need it in the future and put the shortcut on your desktop
also, write the original name of the file down or put it on notepad, in case you want to change it back.
restart windows

I have removed and reinstalled the toner cartidge several times, let it cool down for a day or 2, and still all I get is the flashing error light. A couple of dats ago it worked just fine. I believe that there is plenty of toner, since it was printing fine prior to now.
You have to see how the led is blinking and to compare with the table that
explains every blink what means. If you don't have this table, contact me and
I'll send it to you.

konica minolta pagepro 1350w fatal print spooler error?does that mean i need a new toner cartridge or is the damn thing busted?
A 'print spooler' is a range of memory either internal to the printer (sometimes called 'buffer memory') or set aside from the RAM in your system.
A fatal error normally means the material you tried to print has been lost and must be sent to the printer again.
If the error continues to show up, you may have bad printer memory or perhaps the driver software in your system has gotten stepped on by the operating system and needs to be reinstalled.
Windows loves trashing files to keep life exciting.
This problem is not related to the drum or toner cartridge.

Need Win 7 driver for Konica Minolta Page Pro 1350W

My scanner a visioneer 6200 was not compatible with windows 7 They said I needed a newer version. I used the oldest scanners drivers that I could find for windows 7. ended up using something like e the Visoneer
8200 for my 6200. It still works excellent to this day.
I would try a driver they made for windows 7 for their oldest Konica Minolta Page Pro that you can find. See if it works good enough until 2010. Let me know please

Is there a way to make a Konica Minolta PagePro 1350w printer to work with Windows 7- 64bits edition ? There in no official driver yet and there are really few chances to have one released in the near future.
I looked at the manufacturer's web-site:

and you are correct -- there are drivers for 2000/XP, and for 95/98, but nothing for Vista nor Windows 7.
Find an old computer running Windows 2000 or XP, and connect the printer to it, and "share" the printer across your home-network.
