Maybe you have it muted or a Tape Monitor engaged??? Never troubleshoot anything at high volume. If you can't hear it at medium it's effectively noth there. A flip of a misplaced switch would possibly blow your speakers.

Its probably a GMA fuse. Its value should be on the circuit board and on the old fuse. You can get replacements at Radio Shack or your local hardware store. Just make sure it is NOT a slow blow fuse. in most cases the fuse opens due to a problem with the receiver either in the power supply or more likely in the output circuit.

A slow-blow fuse takes a couple of seconds to open and in that time more damage will be done.

Looks like a rebadged Pioneer if it is, one of the output channels has probably been damaged and it shuts down to protect the rest of the system. Time for service at your local HiFi dealer.

well mixing old AVR with newer TV (non told) or the reverse does that,! early AVR (mines packed in box attic) has no digital ports only has RCA analog and no hdmi ports. (retired it ,just like me) see there, that is progress. (1/2 joking) just looked at 3770 is all analog a sea of white/red/yellow RCA jacks on the rear.. OLD tech. no TV told but the the best TVs like LG and SAMSUNGS have both. analog and HDMI digital jacks. mine does. LG55xxxxxx there are only 3 choices new AVR, (best choice with a future) buy older TV (hah) buy LG with both on the rear. se this? D = digital A = analog RCA pin jack inputs. video and audio too. a far better TV has both not just HDMI.

It is possible that the solder connections on those transistors are bad and need to be re-soldered. This is common with components that get hot. I would also check any capacitors that are close to them since heat can dry out the capacitors. Other than that, it could be a number of other things.

2. Check the Fuses.
3. Check the Pigtail Connector.
