Plays some does not play others. Soon nothing will be playable. Laser assembly losing ability to focus properly on disc surface and it has to be replaced since repair is not cost effective with these things.

this shouldn't be a big deal irrespective of a manual.

Check all around the body of the Blaupunkt CDC A08 CD Changer and unscrew every screw that is holding the cover. After unscrewing, use a flat screw driver to open the cover from the side because the cover of the changer might be clipped together.

You will also need to apply some force in other to open the cd changer because this might be the first time its being opened.

Try to study the cover of the cd changer, so that opening it can be easy. You need to know the correct direction to open the cover.

I believe this should help in dismantling the player in other to remove the cd's inside the changer.

Take out the disc magazine, press eject and re-insert the disc magazine until it is locked securely.--------- You may have to do it several times till it locks.Carefully inspect there is nothing blocking the magazine for getting fitted.Also see that arrow icon on disc magazine is on top and not on bottom base.------------ -------- Also if that is not helping, then may be when you took apart the casing, something got loose and that is not letting the magazine to lock.Re check the casing and its fitting properly.---------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

There are two ways either the 90* or the 180*. If your having problems like skipping I'd suggest finding a place at the center of the car where there is less shock for the unit, like under your seat. I know changers have this 6 seconds or more memory so in case it skips, the first 6 sec ahead of the song is stored and play it to avoid the skip.

Are you getting an error message? If yes, what is the exact error message?

Seems that this is a common issue with the Blaupunkt CDC-A08. I searched over the web and found the same problem. Try power cycling the CD changer first.

Turn off the power and make sure to disconnect the power source. Turn it back on after 10 minutes. That should resolve the problem.

If you get the same problem, contact the manufacturer for possible repair.

its an optical problem, you may try cleaning the lens or try replacing a new one.

Basically, 12v to pin '3' (with notch at top, it's the top row, third pin from the RIGHT) and ground to outter jacket of the connector. Push eject button, works a charm.

I am waiting for a reply from the Authorised Blaupunkt Service Agent for a solution to this problem &
shall let you know when it is solved. As per my telcon with him it is an alignment problem of the
Cartridge carrier, but he will have to look at the Unit later, when he is free.
