Hi, Have you enabled the "
USB Debugging" on your phone? It should be under the Phone settings. The sequence should be similar to this...
Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging and check whether USB Debugging is Enabled/On or Disabled/Off. If it's Enabled, Disable it or if it's Disabled, then Enable it and try again.
As per Tether's Mobile Stream, the
USB Mass Storage should be enabled on Motorola phones to get this worked.
But all options aren't similar, this might be different with your phone. I am only assisting with the troubleshooting instructions.
Even if the USB Mass Storage and USB Debugging is corrected and the problem persists, then you may likely need to Root your phone. You can follow the instructions given
HERE (but I don't think this is applicable for EasyTether, I am only including this for your reference).
I would also suggest you to re-install EasyTether and the Driver (Click
HERE to download). In most cases, enabling the "
USB Debugging" and "
USB Mass Storage" fix this problem.
