LG 47LD450 47 in. TV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Audio vga output
Yes. Why can't. Refer the user manual to both the devices, to know about how to connect them in between.
Remote not working
Have the remote tested, most shops have a tester and some digital cameras in a dark room will react on the display with a faint flash when remote pointed at them and buttons pressed. If remote tests good the remote receiver in the set (somewhere on front) is your problem.Lastly, consult the owner manual as some sets have a way to lock out the remote from being used.
Things keep popping up on
What type of things? Like error messages? It is hard to help you without a more descriptive message. You may want to unplug the TV for 10 seconds then replug the power cord back in. If this does not work, try contacting LG for technical assistance. If you have a warranty from like BestBuy, you can contact them for help.
If you can thumbs up my answer it would be appreciated!

Your guess is right, when you take the back off you probably will find a couple electrolytic caps, that are bulged, on the power supply board, and need to be replace, or you can just replace the power supply module.. That will take care of your problem.

I have a LG dvd
player 5083 inserted the disc the correct way into the draw but the machine does not play the disc a very slight humming noise is heard then it spits the drawer back out
Clean the Lens: Use a DVD cleaning disc to clean the lens. If the problem persists, consider professional cleaning.
Test Other Discs: Try playing different DVDs to see if the issue occurs consistently. If it's specific to one disc, that disc might be the problem.
Check for Updates: Make sure your DVD player's firmware is updated. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for firmware updates.
Try a Different TV: Connect your DVD player to a different TV to see if the noise disappears. If it does, the issue might be with your TV.
The hum is simply the player trying to read the disc. It can't so, it spits it out.
Remember that prolonged use of a malfunctioning DVD player could potentially cause damage. If the problem persists, consider seeking professional repair or replacement
