Hi, how I instal lg super multi drive gp08 premium on laptop

Check in Device Manager to insure the usb port(s) are in working order.

According to the LG SUPPORT (click here) website, this model is compatible with Windows only. Unless Apple has a driver for it (unlikely) it will not work with Apple macbooks.

Just plug it into a USB port. XP should find it as a spare disk drive.

Options Available1) Change the resolution and check the DVD.2) Reinstall the driver software.3) Have warranty go back to the seller.4) Check whether the same drive is readable with old cds or protected cds. Click start control panel administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd-dvd rom drives you might see a yellow question mark ? right click you will have options to update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem if you cant see your disk drive in windows explorer Close all open programs

This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete After deleting the keys, close the registry editor Reboot your computer Open My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives have returned. In lost the installation software Problem with the LG GP08NU20 DVD±RW Burner In lost the installation software to my LG portable super multi drive. Model # GP08NU20. Can I download the installation software?

I had buy a LG Portable Super Multi Drive GP10 and the LG Power Tool software does not have a Video Player. The Help Section of the software show the icon Video Player but it does not appear in my software. Besides, the Windows Media Player does not work for videos. Are there any solution in order to get de Video Player drive or software?

Try to replace your cable connection...

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it make sure that the dvd rw is getting enough power test all leads that are attached to the dvd rw including electrical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or your drivers may have been corrupted or you might have a virus run your antivrus program you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd then plug them back in or you might have to uninstall then reinstall your DVD/CD or uninstall the driver then reinstall for this device click start control panel administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd dvd rom drives right click you can you can update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem Close all open programs

open Itunes in the top left hand corner select file from thdrop down list you will see Library click to open then you should see back up to disk then more options back up entire library to disk
this might be because you have not selected the option to burn an audio cd or your burning software does not support audio burning there are plenty of free burning software programs on the internet
