My bioaxxis bd1 finger print
Here is the link to the website for the manufacturer, Axxis Biometrics:
http://www.axxisbiometrics.com/products/locks/deadbolt-fingerprint/bioaxxis-bd1/
I want you to have that because if all else fails, you'll have the contact information for further assistance.
Here is the direct link to the installation and programming instructions, which includes the beep codes. You likely lost the programming when you left the batteries out for such a long period:
http://www.axxisbiometrics.com/images/upload/File/pdfs/BD1_Complete_User_Manual.pdf
Notice that the above is a .pdf filetype. That means that you need to have Adobe Reader or similar installed on your computer to view it. So if you are unable to view the file, download (for free) and install Adobe Reader first. You can get it here:
http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Hope this helps. Good luck!

The alarm is setting off
I downloaded the PDF file for this lock to find out about the beeps. I
had to use Internet Explorer; Firefox wouldn't work. This is what I
found:
Single, Short Beep - Indicates that any operations sequence has
begun OR that the door has been successfully locked or unlocked
OR that the sliding cover has been left open for more than ten
seconds.
Single, Long Beep - Indicates that programming operation was
successful
Short, Double Beep - Indicates that individual fingerprint user
deletion sequence has begun.
Long Double Beep - Indicates that Delete All programming was
successful
Four Beeps - Indicates unsuccessful enrollment/unsuccessful
verification attempt OR BioAxxis® BD1 was improperly installed
(see Installation Guide).
Six, Short Beeps - Low battery alert, change batteries
The link to download this file is here:

This is a PFD file, requiring that you have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view it.
This is a link to AxxisBiometrics webpage, which has a toll-free help number blasted across it, if all else fails:

For a $250 lock, if you the beep codes I supplied you doesn't answer
your question, I wouldn't hesitate to call them up. Good luck! (duplicated to clear both requests for help)

Lock Wont Program, Tried to reset and delete all
Hello. SInce this is brand new, return it. If someone else already used it; their data will not be penetratable without you sending it into the company for a factory reset, along with proof of purchase and two forms of ID. Joe
I had this exact same problem a while ago.

I had to replace my batteries in my electronic deadbolt and now it won't let me reset the code and I've followed the directions and not working
You didn't say what brand or model, so here's a generic answer:
Find the instructions to reset it to factory codes. Sometimes this is as easy as removing the battery and waiting an hour (or a day) and other times you have to enter special codes, or disconnect a jumper, or connect 2 points with a wire to erase the codes. Once you have the lock reset, put brand new batteries in and follow the instructions for programming a brand new lock.
If you don't have the instructions, you can often find them online by entering the brand and model # into the search box of Google or YouTube along with a word or phrase like "instructions" or "manual" or "getting started."
