When printer's ink pads full then you need to be changed. Do you know what is waste ink pads? In the printing process, the printer produces waste ink that has to go somewhere and it send through a tube to ink pad where it is collected.
Don't worry! You can easily reset/replace the water ink pad:
Step1: Remove viewing panel on the back of your printer's right side. Some other printers it will be rectangular panel, and on others it will be right side of the printer. Use a Philips head, or screw driver to remove it.
Step2: Now you can find the ink waste tubes. It is easy to locate because they will be two clear tubes running side by side into the ink waste reservoir. Some printers will only have one tube. One end of the tubes will be attached inside the printer and the other ends will be loose. Pull the loose ends of the tubes through the panel opening. You may need to use needle nose pliers to accomplish this if you cannot easily grasp the tubes with your fingers.
Step3: After that remove the old pad. Wear rubber gloves when you remove it. Using the pliers, pull the pad out of the printer and set it aside. Clean out the reservoir by pushing paper towels into it and letting them soak up the ink.
Step4: Now you can replace the pad. You may also try cleaning the old pad by letting it soak in a large bowl of hot water then squeezing it out. Make sure it is completely dry before putting it back in the printer.
