Endurance TF3i Folding Treadmill Questions & Answers
How accurate are the calorie counters on treadmills and cardio equipment?
Here's what the Sole exercise equipment makers say about calorie counters on exercise equipment. it's from their E-95 users manual: "Calorie readings on every piece of exercise equipment, whether it is in a gym or at home, are not accurate and tend to vary widely. They are meant only as a guide to monitor your progress from workout to workout. The only way to measure your calorie burn accurately is in a clinical setting connected to a host of machines. This is because every person is different and burns calories at a different rate. Some good news is that you will continue to burn calories at an accelerated rate for at least an hour after you have finished exercising!"
Recently started making a thumping, dragging noise when operating and ripples have formed in the center of the belt.
Those ripples sound like the product of an old belt from it stretching over time, you may just need to replace the belt.
If you have a two sided deck, it is best for the machine when putting in a new belt to flip that deck or if you don't have a flippable deck to get a new deck along with that new belt.
When you replace these items it is a good idea to go ahead and perform maintenance on a few other items, including but not limiting it to your Motor Control Board, Front and Rear rollers, and by maintenance we just mean clean and remove debris or dust bunnies from the treadmill.
It will help the life of those other components along with being a must, especially on those front and rear rollers when replacing the deck and belt.
Do not forget to lubricate your belt and deck after proper installation.

Do treadmill rollers need to be oiled
for the most part treadmills are self sustainable and do not need oiling or maintenance but you can check the owners manual for your model to see if you should or can do so. (Google is your friend).

What does error 1 mean
error 1 simply means no belt movement generally. If belt moves a little it could be the speed sensor but generally it's the motor controller.
Hi There,
Actually it means you have been a avid user of your unit.
Unplug the unit remove the motor shroud, then go to the end of your unit I believe it uses an allen wrench loosen the belt. Now while at this portion count how many times you have turn the bols son each side then write it down so when you are ready to apply the same tension you be in the ball park. Now what you need to do is actually see if it is the front unraveling or it is the running belt. then that said done call BH and order the part or parts needed complete the repair or ask them if they have a reliable servicer in the area to complete the repair for you.
What do i do when the belt skips while u are on it?
This is caused by one of three problems. First and most likely, the
walking belt is loose. To tighten the belt, start by locating the two
bolts that adjust the rear roller (one on each side of the unit in the
back). Run the unit at about 3 mph. Tighten the bolts a 1/4 turn at a
time. Make sure that what you do to one side, you MUST do to the other
side or the belt will get off center. After you tighten it 1/4 turn,
check the belt to see if it is still slipping. If it is then tighten
the belt 1/4 turn again. Continue until the belt does not slip, but do
not tighten the bolts more than 2 full turns. If it takes more than 2
turns then something else is the problem. The second problem that it
could be is the drive belt might be loose. To tighten the drive belt,
start by removing the front cover. loosen the bolts around the motor
then tighten the drive belt by tightening the motor adjuster bolt. Once
the drive belt is tight, tighten the motor back down. The third
problem that it could be is the walking belt could be worn and need to
be replaced. Let me know if you have any questions.
Treadmill adjustment
"The best treadmills are those that provide you easy access to belt tracking. But, even the best treadmills with the most easily accessible belt tracking are also susceptible to stretch slightly under initial use. That is why it is important that you adjust the tread belt every so often to keep it away from stretching.
Most manufacturers include the Allen wrench (a tool consisting of a hexagonal head and an L-shaped bar) in the package when you buy a treadmill from them. Use it to tighten both the belt adjustment screws clockwise. If your manufacturer did not supply you with an Allen wrench, use another of the right size.
A ¼ turn, clockwise should tighten treadbelt if it has loosened. The screws for belt adjustment are usually located at the rear end of the treadmill. Some belts do require looser running than others so don’t be surprised if your treadbelt is a little loose even when you haven’t actually used it. Check the user’s guide before making adjustments just to make sure that whatever you are doing is correct.
Moreover, be sure to keep the belt running at a low speed of around 3 mph when adjusting the belt tracking. This is the ideal speed when making any adjustments with the screws.
Maintaining your treadmill is necessary to upkeep it's performance and looks. A little bit of adjustment here and there can make your treadmill a life long companion. "
