How do you change odometer from Kmh to Mph? - 2008 Vento Triton LI

you will have to go to the dealer and they can have it recalibrated to mph and then it will all be recorded and you will have the papers to show anyone that requires to see them. also the odometer will be changed to miles from kilometers. is this something that is required by law or can you just do the mental conversion from kilo to miles.

yes you can . go to the setting and manipulate the complicated keys and you will find the way you want.

Anon, Remove ground on battery with ign still on to drain all power...now turn ign off, attach ground press hold lap timer button the clocks will do a cycle all way round, then the bike will flash mph kph mph kph 10 times in this time when its on mph release the lap timer button, after this bike will now read mph.

You change the odometer from KPH to MPH by holding down the ADJ button for three seconds...

[*]Set your odometer to "Odometer" and not a trip meter.
[*]Press the "SEL" button for 2 seconds to switch between KMH and MPH

This only works on the US models.. UK too.. most Canadian models do not have this function.

youl probably need to take the bike to a motorbike shop. or just look at the instruction manual

On the left of your dash is a pair of buttons, one for selecting/changing the odometer and the other for cycling from MPH to KMH and back.

Turn the key on.

Push the select button until your display indicated the remaining oil life percentage. When it is displayed press and HOLD the select button until it begins to flash. Once it starts flashing release the button and press and hold it again. The display will clear and if you release the button and cycle through the display with the select button you will see oil life 100%.
