Hi!!I have a code on my 2003 nissan altima it reads p0107.I've changed the mfs its loosing power.Any suggestions?

code p0107 refers to manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor/barometric pressure (BARO) sensor--low input===causes wiring short to ground.---MAP sensor---Baro sensor----ECM
Maybe you didn't change the right sensor.

-----------------------
AFR - Air Fuel Ratio
ATS - Air Temperature Sensor
BAS - Bank Angle Sensor
CCM - Cruise Control Module
CKP - Crank Position Sensor. The CKP generates an "AC signal" which is sent to the ECM where it is used to reference engine position (TDC) and speed.
DTC - Diagnostic Trouble Codes
ECM - Electronic Control Module. (The Computer) Computes the spark advance for proper ignition timing and fuel control based on sensor inputs
(from CKP, MAP & TP sensors) and controls the low-voltage circuits for the ignition coils and injectors.
The dwell time for the ignition coil is also calculated in the microprocessor and is dependent upon battery voltage. The programmed dwell feature gives adequate spark at all speeds.
ECT - Engine Coolant Temperature. Sensor also controls the cooling fan relay that provides 12 Vdc to the fans.
EFI - Electronic Fuel Injection
EFP - Electronic Fuel Pump
ET - Engine Temperature sensor
FI - Fuel Injectors
FPR - Fuel Pressure regulator
IAC - Idle Air Control actuator
IAT - Intake Air Temperature sensor
ISS - Ion Sensing System...detonation detection
MAP - manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. The MAP sensor monitors the intake manifold pressure (vacuum) and sends the information to the ECM.
The EMC then adjusts the spark and fuel-timing advance curves for optimum performance.
TP - Throttle Position Sensor
TSM/TSSM (Turn Signal/ Turn Signal Security Module)
VE - Volume Efficiency
VSS - Vehicle Speed Sensor. Used as an input for idle speed control

Hello , I have a 2003 trailblazer with the 4.2 engine. I have a p105b map sensor reg. value code. I have 7-8 g/s vacuum 1.0 volts at idle I can see this value on a scan tool . The car seems to run ok just...

p105b ???? What scan tool did you use to pull this code ?DTC P0105 is the correct DTC. Where do you people learn this stuff .I have 7-8 g/s vacuum??? What the heck is this ?? The only thing you'd see Grams a second on would be a mass air flow sensor , not the map sensor . Vacuum to the map sensor would be manifold vacuum . 18 - 22 at idle. MAP Sensor Eng 1, 2, 3
Volts
0.94-2.0 volts Varies with altitude
Dirty throttle bore ,plate ,EGR valve sticking open a little .
The PCM calculates a predicted value for the MAP sensor based on throttle position (TP) and engine speed. The PCM then compares the predicted value to the actual MAP sensor signal. If the PCM detects that the MAP sensor signal is not within the predicted range, DTC P0105 sets.

My 2003 hyundai tiburon gt 2.7 V6 is flashing a map sensor code does this car have a map sensor and where can i get it or what would cause this

so ur saying that a scanner says that a map sensor code is present anyway if it shows a code for it then it is surely got one lol at a parts center like advaced auto or dealer and it causes the car to idle rough not take fuel properly and fuel either too lean or too ritch etc.....

2003 odyssey dtc codes 1129,0505

1129- map sensor and 0505 its your idle control, but the 1129 may be the cause of the 0505. I would say that you have a bad bad map-manifold absolute pressure sensor. Good luck and contact if you need more help. thanks for using FIX YA

88 jeep yj carb 6 cly automatic, where is the map

If you have a carb you do not have a map or IAC valve. They are on fuel injected throttle body setups. You really should go to an auto parts store and get a book if your really interested.

Map sensor

Hi...

On a 2.2 L. the map sensor is located Near the throttle body assemble. on intake manifold.

On a 3.0 L. Is located near the ECM on top of the intake manifold..

OK.. I hope you found if Not. Let me know .
I will looking for diagram to send.

Thank you for use fixya.
