FI light stays on. If the bike is hot when I fire it up, I have to hold the revs at about 3000 rpm for about 5 seconds before it will idle.Otherwise it willjust die. It's at this point the FI light comes on and stays on.

Hi you will have to remove the seat cowling next to the ecm (black box left side with lots of wires going to it) you will see a black connector that is not pluged in to anything with the ign switch off and the kill switch set to run bridge the 2 wires with a split pin or a piece of wire turn the ign switch on and count the blinks on the dash a long blink counts as ten.to remove the codes pull out the bridge while the light is flashing.then run the bike and when the light comes on check the code agian write down the number of blinks and give dobles 02086687810 a call im sure they will tell you wot the code is
