Hi and welcome to FixYa,

A couple of initial checks:

  • loadtest the battery;
  • check, clean power terminals, connectors;
  • check, clean fuse & fuse holder in starter relay and in fuse box;
  • check, clean ground connection points to battery's - terminal, engine and chassis/frame.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

My Toro LX425 riding mower will not start has been fine all season; battery indicator light on but wont turn over; starter?

First make sure your battery is fully charged. The charger on lawn tractors will not keep the battery fully charged as they just produce a light charge. Check battery before the starter but if battery is fully charged then it's possible the starter could be bad.

Battery fully charged, car wont start, cant remove key, 2004 cadillac cts

There is a magnetic switch on the 'park' position. The car only starts or releases the key in 'park' is enabled. Maybe this switch is not working! Try to replace it!
