Depending on the bike.. On all the "easiest" thing to do is drop the front wheel, remove the 4 bolts holding the fender on. Watch out for the sheet metal tabs that lock the bolts in place. Now depending on the model you may have a light on the front of your fender, you will have the joy of disconnecting it first. Hope this helps.

MINE is a snap----But I have custom wheels, so it's easy to reach through as needed. Just take a long flat blade screwdriver and hammer to unbend the tin locking tabs and remove the bolts. Raise up on fender and roll it off to the front. Use pliers to bend the tabs back on install.

I have a 2015 street glide special. I put a 21" wheel on and would like to lower the front end back to the stock Height. It there any issue with simply moving the fork tubes up into the triple trees?

Fender clearance will be an issue. You will have to raise the fork tubes one halt the differance of the wheel sizes. As far as I can remember, stock wheel is 18". this means you will have to raise the tubes 1.5" to lower bike back to stock height. Use two pull down straps to pull the shocks down while opserving clearance on the fender. Also, your rake and trail will change due to different wheel size and may effect the overall handling of the bike. Drive carefully first few miles to check this out.

I have a 2005 harley davidson electra glide standard and need to get to the battery. Where is the release?

In order to get to the battery on your touring model Harley you need to
first open your tour pack (if you have one)
at the back of your passenger seat the is a Philips head screw with a star washer under it.
with a long (but not too long) #2 Phillips screw driver remove the screw and place it where you can not lose it (be sure not to scratch your tour pack)
while standing on the low side of the bike or right side place your left hand over the seat tab (where the screw cam out of) and your right hand at the nose of the seat pull slightly to the back of the motorcycle until the front tab has been released from the bike.
then push the nose of the seat to the high side of the bike still keeping your left hand completely over the rear seat tab so that now you don't scratch the rear fender and push a little forward and shimmy back the seat strap with your right hand ( this step is a slight pain in the but)
one the seat has been removed you then can access your battery.
in order to remove you need some really good finger strength or a battery removal tool.
on the high side just over the battery is a Torx #45 self tapping screw head holding a small bracket in turn holding the battery in place. remove that and first with a 10mm wrench remove the negative battery terminal and then remove the positive to keep from throwing parks.

Removing stock rear turn signals on 2006 Harley Davidon 1200

I have not removed the turn signals from a model this late. There may be a nut between the fender and the fender strut. You may have to remove the fender to get the turn signals off.

Removing front wheel from harley davidson heritage softail

first take off the brake caliper takes a 10 mm socket..Next jack front of bike up just enough to take pressure off front tire...take off the axle nut lbit more to take pressure off axleock washer and flat washer...Next remove two axle support nuts from the right side of bike 1/2 in socket. now jack bike up a hair more to releave pressure off axle push, hammer with a rubber hammer or what ever it takes to drive it through. jack bike up so it clears fender. Sometimes the tire won't clear the fender bolts if so just release air from tire and it will clear. good luck. Its not hare at all.
